Spur of the moment trip to Slimbridge to see Tilly and Lisa and their broods. The sun came out when we were in Wellyboot Land* and the children had a whale of a time running, splashing, scooting, roundabouting and sliding.
*for the unitiated this is a fenced off section of the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust’s visitor centre which is astroturfed throughout, with a series of channels to dam, roundabouts which power fountains, slides, play areas and benches for exhausted mummies to sit on while they drink coffee.
